1.7 : Memorize the verb être. Study flashcards and re-watch the video on le visage. Complete exercises 1-6.
WEEK 5
Origins, nationalities, countries, and languages. 1.8 Décrire ses origines (nationalités)
Talking about feelings and emotions. 1.9: Exprimer ses émotions (Comment vas-tu ?)
1.8 : Review the verb être & memorize the verb venir. Complete exercises 1-2. Write a paragraph (6-7 sentences) about yourself.

1.9 : Re-watch video on emotions & practice pronunciation. Complete exercises 1-2.
WEEK 6

EXAMEN 1

– Review of exam. The French alphabet and accent marks. 1.12 Comment ça s’écrit ?
Definite and indefinite articles; gender & number. 1.14 Déterminants – articles définis et indéfinis.
1.12 : E-mail me a voice recording of the alphabet & spelling of your name.

1.14 : Complete exercises 4-5. Study flashcards (focusing on gender of each noun).
